Swedish Massage
Swedish massage typically comes with the goal of calming your nervous system. You can expect minimal discomfort, a slow and relaxing touch, and we usually don’t go too deep into your tissues during Swedish techniques. This is the stereotypical massage you find in resorts and vacation spots.
This technique promotes circulation and relaxation while aiming to relieve tension and stress.
Cupping
Cupping therapy is an ancient technique that has been practiced for centuries to promote healing and relaxation. When paired with trigger point techniques cupping allows the tissues to release faster and with less discomfort.
During a cupping session, specially designed cups are placed on the skin to create suction. This gentle suction helps to stimulate blood flow, loosen tight muscles, and encourage the release of toxins from the body. Many clients find cupping therapy to be deeply relaxing and beneficial for relieving muscle tension, promoting circulation, and enhancing overall well-being.
assisTed STreTching
Assisted stretching involves a skilled therapist guiding you through a series of passive and active stretches. This personalized approach helps to target specific muscle groups and joints, promoting relaxation, relieving tension, and improving overall range of motion. By gently assisting your body into deeper stretches, our therapists facilitate greater flexibility and muscle lengthening, which can contribute to improved posture and reduced risk of injury.
Whether you're looking to complement your regular exercise routine or alleviate stiffness from prolonged sitting, our assisted stretching sessions offer a rejuvenating experience that leaves you feeling revitalized and balanced.
Deep Tissue Massage
Sometimes called trigger point massage. Deep tissue massage often exchanges some discomfort for positive changes in the body. Here we use trigger point techniques to deal with those muscles that are always causing pain and tension. You can expect to breathe deeply while your therapist finds and applies pressure those painful spots on your body. Many people report standing up feeling increased range of motion and decreased pain after this massage.
Our most popular appointment.
Not recommended for pregnant people or post-surgical patients.
fascial scraping
Fascial scraping, also known as instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), is a highly effective technique aimed at releasing tight fascia to improve movement and reduce discomfort. Fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and organs, can become restricted due to various factors such as repetitive movements, injury, or stress, leading to pain, stiffness, and limited range of motion.
During a fascial scraping session our skilled therapist uses specialized tools like gua sha to gently glide over the skin. These tools are designed to detect and treat areas of fascial restriction, adhesions, and scar tissue. The controlled pressure applied during scraping helps to break down these adhesions, stimulating blood flow and promoting the healing process.
Clients often experience immediate relief and improved flexibility after a session. Whether you're an athlete recovering from intense training, dealing with chronic pain, or simply seeking enhanced mobility, fascial scraping can complement your wellness journey by restoring tissue function and promoting overall well-being.
Self-Care Coaching
60 minutes - $75
Massage therapists must keep their self-care routine robust and active. This means your therapist can help you create your own self-care routine based on your specific needs. You can expect the typical health intake where you report the problem areas in your body, then your therapist will take that information and teach you how to apply care to your own body in your free time. The goal here is to help you get the most bang for your buck from your massage care as well as giving you the tools to, hopefully, get yourself out of pain as quickly as possible when you don’t have the time or money to call on a massage therapist.

“The real purpose of giving massage is to foster more depth of feeling for one another in order to bring out the love that often lies buried beneath the pain of everyday suffering.”
